衝脈 (Chong Mài) is the central channel. The main branch runs from the 會 陰 (Huì Yin, CV-1, Root) to 白會 (Bái Huì, GV-20, Crown) . It forms the central axis ("world tree") in which all the other subtle and gross bodies wrap around.
The 衝脈 (Chong Mài) cannot be found in the physical realm. You can start locating it from either the perineum or crown in physical realm, and the slide along the subtle axis to find it. It sits deeper along the S-axis than the ordinary meridians in the etheric body. For more details on the S-axis, refer to the Navigation Siddhi.
The 衝脈 (Chong Mài) runs along a gradient. At CV-1, it is naturally easier to connect with Earth, whereas at GV-20, it is naturally eaier to connect with Heaven. Midway through, it is naturally easier to connect with the personal Domain. Different subtle realms can be accessed this way, making this one of the easier methods to navigate to a specific realm.
