The siddhi of metal in the wuxing is unshakable focus. Just as the energy of metal is contractive, this draws the attention to an idea or practice and allows one to single-mindedly execute it.

This siddhi is related to the pathology of metal. (In Chinese medicine, excessive Metal shows in the lungs as grief, and depression).
