Starting Somewhere
You have to start somewhere.
After a long hiatus, I am rebuilding the Hidden Storehouse site. It’s been rattling around in my mind for years after I shut down the original. It wasn’t until after I received an empowerment for Chöd that something cleared up. I found myself putting the space and technology together.
Since the last version of this site, my experiences have greatly broadened and deepened. Back then, I still wondered if things such as qì(氣) really existed. Despite hanging out with a number of people who have non-ordinary experiences, I had that doubt. The kind of content I added reflected those doubts, and were in many ways, a form of seeking validation.
I’ve since had experiences that definitively put those questions to rest for me, while opening up whole spaces of possibilities to explore. Those experiences lead me to focus on a topic: healing.
This would be the healing of the mind, the body, the spirit. It’s healing the land (or more precisely, our relationship to land). It’s healing communities.
The information here is organized in three main ways:
- An encyclopedia, similar to a wiki
- A blog, wherein I write from my personal perspective
- Books, each organized to teach
And woven through them all, there are various side paths to explore. There will be links to the encyclopedia for terms. There will be endnotes and footnotes to curated related topics. Each page will have tags to let you find other resources I have tagged. There will be many external resources, and hopefully, archival links in case the original resources has been removed.
There are several indices that curates starting points, but I will not be providing a complete index. Certain subjects and tags remain for you to discover as you read through the content.
Although this is the first entry I have written, this won’t be the earliest blog article. I will be backfilling older articles. I will be making edits. I may change the structure. This will make it harder for those trying to follow new content, and yet, I hope those who come searching for something specific will find it.
